London Scouts to camp out in Downing Street garden (AFP)

LONDON (AFP) ? A group of Scouts were set to camp out overnight Saturday in the back garden of 10 Downing Street, the British prime minister's office and residence.

They are pitching up to help raise money for a children's health charity. Games are being organised and meals will be prepared in the grounds.

Aged between six and eight, the 15 boys and girls are from a south London Scout group.

"This is the first time I have been on a sleepover as a leader with the colony and I am very excited to begin the experience by camping in the garden of number 10 Downing Street," said assistant leader Fiona Williams.

Prime Minister David Cameron is away on holiday.
